One of these assistants is the Candy automatic washing machine, which has the functions of normal and delicate washing, drying clothes, smoothing out folds that have formed on clothes. If the Candy washing machine does not drain water, the reasons for the breakdown may be a network overvoltage, any mechanical damage, or a manufacturing defect.

- there is no liquid drain, but the tank is full of water;
- the drain is not complete or not after the next wash;
- the water outlet functions after using the "wash" mode, but does not after rinsing;
- the washing machine stops spinning the laundry.
What to do
Any woman who does not have special knowledge of the technical structure of a washing machine can look at the filter or drain hose - it may be clogged. You will need to open the filter cover and remove the corrugated drain hose. Install the regulator vertically by turning it counterclockwise. It happens that it “sticks” to the socket, so you need to be careful when unwinding it, otherwise you will have to change it completely. Open the plug and drain the water into a low container. Remember, the pump may contain residual liquid, so to be on the safe side, you need to lay a rag on the floor so that it does not spill around the room, but is absorbed into the rag.
After removing the filter from its slot and cleaning it, put it back in the reverse order. You need to be careful, the filter needs to be screwed on without distortions, very tightly, otherwise the next time you wash it, the water will simply knock it out of its socket.
There are times when SM suddenly stops wringing out laundry. There is an option to forcefully stop washing clothes by unplugging the plug from the socket and then plugging it back in. Or use the buttons that are responsible for the “rinse” and “spin” functions. When such actions lead to nothing, most likely the problem is in the electronics of the Kandy machine.

There are times when the Kandy washing machine has stopped working and the tank is full of water. The E03 icon appears on the display. This code signals that the “drain” function is broken. First you need to check the drain hose - it may be clogged or there may be foreign small objects, lint, accumulation of wool, threads, or other small things accumulated in it.
You will need to drain the water using the emergency drain, which is located near the filter. Remember that water will flow, take care of a low container, as well as rags to collect it. You can clean the filter of hair, fabric fibers and small objects by rinsing it under a strong stream of water.
The reason why code E03 appears on the display:
- The drain system is clogged;
- The pump requires either replacement or repair;
- The pressure switch is faulty.
Drain pump inspection
If it is determined that the cause of error E03 is not a blockage, you need to check the drain pump. Before this, you need to de-energize the SM, and then start working:
- disconnect the decorative strip from the latches, behind which the pump and filter are located;
- remove the drain filter by unscrewing it counterclockwise;
- Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws holding the pump;
- put the washing machine on its side, disconnect the pipes and electronics, remembering the location of the fastening clamps;
- Unscrew the 3 screws connecting the pump and the volute, remove debris, fibers, and hair from the impeller;
- Taking a multimeter, check the serviceability of the electrical part of the pump. If the device shows a malfunction, you need to purchase a new pump;
- Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
If the pressure switch breaks, the same problems are possible. The CM control module does not receive a signal about the water level, and the pump does not receive a command to drain. You can fix this problem yourself by cleaning the contacts. Or the reason lies in the pressure tube, which may rupture or fly off. If the tube and contacts are working properly, you should check the pressure switch with a multimeter.

Not all Kandy washing machine models have a display that displays an error code. For example, SM “Aquamatic” models indicate a problem by flashing the bottom light on the left. The number of flashes after a pause is the error code.
