This is done simply - certain error codes for Brandt washing machines are displayed on the screen, the designations of which are described in detail in the instruction manual. Decoding codes
The Brandt washing machine can display any of the codes below on its screen:
- D01 – the unit does not take in water. Probably, the water level sensor has failed, the solenoid valve responsible for the fill has broken, or the controller of the electronic control unit has broken down. It is necessary to verify the integrity of the hose, make sure that the water pressure in the water pipe is within normal limits;
- D02 - water leaves the Brandt machine slowly, or it does not happen at all. In this case, the drain hose and pipe are checked and, if necessary, they are cleaned. In addition, we check the cleanliness of the mesh filter located at the bottom in front of the washing machine.Often, such a code appears when the control controller or drain pump fails, or defects appear in the connections;
- D03 – no water heating to the required temperature. The temperature sensor could have failed, the controller has broken down, or the water heating element has failed. You will have to open the body panel of the washing machine and carry out an appropriate check of the Brandt machine with a tester;
- D04 - this error code means that a malfunction has occurred in the drive motor, which begins to work without stopping. In this case, diagnostics at a professional level will be required, followed by repair or replacement of the triac or the entire module;
- D05 - this code is a signal about a faulty sensor that controls the temperature. To fix the problem, you will have to open the machine, find the sensor located on the heating element, test it and, most likely, change it;
- D06 - with this signal the Brandt machine notifies that a breakdown should be looked for in the electric motor, control controller, or electrical wiring. You will have to invite an experienced specialist who will accurately identify the problem and eliminate the malfunction;
- D07 – the hatch is not blocked. Often the problem can be solved simply - the door is pressed closer to the body of the machine. If the error code lights up again, you will have to check the locking mechanism for serviceability, inspect the handle and the locking device;
- D09 – selector failure. You should test the module and check the integrity of connections;
- D10 - a signal indicates that the Brandt washing machine is taking in more water than the volume required for washing. The problem is solved by repairing or completely replacing the sensor responsible for the water level. Perhaps the problem lies in the electronic module;
- D17 - the decoding of this error code indicates that the drum is not positioned correctly. You will have to check the drive belt for defects, inspect the pulley on which the magnet is supported, make sure the integrity of the magnet itself and the elements of the Aqua-Stop system;
- D21 - the washing machine does not start. We reboot it, change the power module, inspect the wiring, power cord, filter, plug and socket;
- ER12 - with this error code you will have to pay attention to the tightness of the hatch closure;
- FILT – there is no connection from the control unit to the software selector. All connections are checked for integrity one by one.
