Of course, the actual decoding of the F12 code can be easily found in the instructions for the washing machine, so first you can simply decipher the error as provided by the manufacturer. But then you will still have to dwell on some aspects in more detail, because the problem may be much more complex than it seems at first glance.

In its standard form, the operating instructions explain the appearance of the F12 code approximately as “the control module does not communicate with the control panel.” In different variations, but the essence is the same. Moreover, this error can appear not only on washing machines with a display, but also on units of previous, non-display generations.

That is, the machine thus signals the lack of connection between its most important modules.
